Are subscriptions really worth it anymore? Everyone gets thumbnails now, and that's the main reason I bought one last year. The ads really aren't that bad. I never used the shoutbox and my polls were inconclusive. I'll miss the thumbnail ability in my journals and stamps, but probably not enough to want to pay to have them back.

BUT I do know you miss out on a a lot of other features because of it. I couldn't exactly tell you which ones, but something about you can't change a lot with your gallery, you can't add a bunch of applications to your front page or your journal. I also love the option of being able to view MORE thumbnails on each page which I think is still exclusive to subscribers.
If your happy with how your page is now, then no, the subscription probably isn't worth it, but just note you may not know what your missing out on if you don't experience the subscription. Perhaps someone will gift you with one so in case you don't like it you didn't waste any money?
